Description

This dataset is directly related to the research project that aimed to identify the determinants of trade flows between the Asia-Pacific countries from 2000 to 2019 and to assess their impact strength using the panel gravity model (based on the dynamic regression model with the one-year lag). Our research proves that the gravity model can be successfully used to describe international trade in photovoltaic panels and enrich the measure of distance between countries with variables related to energy transition policies and regional agreements. The model estimation results allowed for their logical interpretation in economic terms. The research indicates the gravity model's usefulness in describing the phenomenon of international exchange in Asia-Pacific countries. The presented dataset contains: - the complete set of data used for model construction, - the table of successive correlation coefficients, - and the table with statistical significance coefficients related to the calculated correlations.
