Description

This dataset contains the ERICA assessment report used in the study "Hybrid Probabilistic Machine Learning Framework for Tritium Dose Assessment in the Fukushima Marine Ecosystem". The report presents dose calculations for various marine organisms exposed to tritium in the Fukushima coastal environment, based on the ERICA Tool 2.0. It includes detailed input parameters, ecological and radiological assumptions, species-specific concentration ratios, and resulting dose rates. These data were used to calibrate and validate the hybrid machine learning model developed in the manuscript. The use of ERICA was essential to provide a radiological risk baseline, serving both as a reference and validation layer for the probabilistic learning framework. Steps to reproduce

The data were generated using the ERICA Assessment Tool 2.0, a radiological risk evaluation software developed for environmental protection from ionising radiation. The tool integrates ecological, radiological, and dosimetric parameters to assess the radiological dose rates received by non-human biota. We used environmental tritium concentrations reported in the vicinity of the Fukushima coastal waters following the 2011 accident. Representative marine species were selected from the ERICA default database, including benthic organisms, mollusks, crustaceans, and pelagic fish.
