Relationship between perceived as sexy athlete clothing pitures and problematic pornography use
Description
The dataset consisted of 230 adult pornography users (97 women, 133 men; M age = 25.84 years, SD = 10.75, range = 18–64) who completed the Problematic Pornography Consumption Scale and rated 12 images depicting athletes in sexy sports clothing, alongside demographic and pornography-use variables. It was used to examine how problematic pornography consumption relates to the sexualized perception of sports clothing, exercise status, gender, age, and pornography-use frequency.

Steps to reproduce
To reproduce the study, recruit adults aged 18 or older who reported pornography use in the past 12 months, obtain electronic informed consent, and administer the survey online through Qualtrics. Participants should complete demographic questions, the 18-item PPCS, and then rate 12 randomized athlete images depicting sexy sports clothing, choosing for each image whether it is performance-oriented, neutral, sexual, or arousing. Use images from Wikimedia Commons that systematically vary by sport type, individual versus paired participation, athlete gender, and clothing reveal/body contouring. Exclude responses completed in 3 minutes or less, then analyze the retained data in SPSS using descriptives, correlations, MANCOVA, and regression analyses.
