Description

Manuscript Kulle et al., "Alveolar macrophage function is impaired following inhalation of berry e-cigarette vapor" PNAS 2024 Description of the data and file structure GCMS and Western blot data collected for "Alveolar macrophage function is impaired following inhalation of berry e-cigarette vapor" by Kulle et al.  Files and variables File: HF_010823_01.D.zip Description: zip file containing raw output data file from GCMS analysis of the dried heated flavourless (HF) e-liquid condensate that can be accessed with MassHunter and ChemStation software.  File: HB_ND_010823_01.D.zip Description: zip file containing raw output data file from GCMS analysis of the non-dried (ND) heated berry (HB) e-liquid condensate that can be accessed with MassHunter and ChemStation software. File: HB_010823_01.D.zip Description: zip file containing raw output data file from GCMS analysis of the dried heated berry (HB) e-liquid condensate that can be accessed with MassHunter and ChemStation software.  File: HF_ND_010823_01.D.zip Description: zip file containing raw output data file from GCMS analysis of the non-dried (ND) heated flavourless (HF) e-liquid condensate that can be accessed with MassHunter and ChemStation software. File: Fig_4K_and_S4J_L_M_Raw_Western_Blot_Images.zip Description: zip file containing the raw and uncropped Western blot membrane images from the Amersham Imager used in figures 4K and S4J, L, and M. The images for each figure are separated into individual files within the zip folder. Within each folder for a figure there are four images - two tiff files and two jpg files. The tiff files show the chemiluminescent signal of the target protein. The jpg files show the chemiluminescent signal of the target protein and the colourimetric signal of the protein ladder. Files are named accordingly: "sample order-series on membrane-anti-target protein-date of acquisition-Amersham suffix.file type". Sample order: identifies which samples are in each lane from left to right (i.e., A-3d-10d indicates that from the protein ladder on the left lane 1 is Air, lane 2 is 3-d Berry, and lane 3 is 10-d Berry). Series on membrane: Some images show membranes with multiple sets of samples run on the same membrane. Each set is separated by a protein ladder and the title of the file indicates which series was used in the corresponding figure (i.e., left or right). Anti-target protein: Identifies which protein was probed (i.e., anti-cdc42, anti-atpb).
