Description

The extended data is related to a research protocol, submitted to the F1000 Research journal. The title of the protocol is "An adapted behavioural activation intervention(DiaDeM) for people with diabetes and depression in South Asia: A feasibility study protocol". This multicentre, randomised-controlled feasibility trial aims to test the feasibility and acceptability of a culturally adapted Behavioural Activation (BA) intervention (DiaDeM) for people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and depression in two Low and Middle-income countries (i.e. Pakistan and Bangladesh ) in South Asia. The extended data comprise the following: 1. The template of the participant's consent form for the DiaDeM feasibility trial. 2. Standard Protocol Items: Recommendations for Interventional Trials (SPIRIT) checklist for the DiaDeM Feasibility Trial protocol. 3. Template for Intervention Description and Replication (TIDieR) checklist for the DiaDeM Feasibility Trial protocol. The first document has been created by the researchers while the latter two have been completed by the corresponding author of the protocol.

The extended data does not comprise any data sets but actually are documents that relate to the protocol of the feasibility trial. The first document has been created by the researchers while the latter two have been completed by the corresponding author of the protocol. 1. The template of the consent form for the study participants will be used to record the informed written consent of the trial participants after translation into the local languages. 2. Standard Protocol Items: Recommendations for Interventional Trials (SPIRIT) checklist 3. Template for Intervention Description and Replication (TIDieR) checklist.
