Description

We hypothsized that SMRT sequencing producing long length reads may provide more conprehensive transcriptome and accurate downstream analysis than next generation sequencing. Here we annotated the unigenes of the long length transcriptome and analysis the DEGs. We found that DEGs were present between sexes during early developmental stages of the mud crab. Several important KEGG pathways were identified to be potentially involved in sex differention File S1: Unigene annotation in five protein database including non-redundant protein database (NR), Swiss-prot, Clusters of orthologous eucaryotic genes (KOG), Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomics (KEGG) databases ; File S2: Predicted simple sequence repeats (SSRs)in the long read transcriptome of mud crab; File S3: Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between juvenile male (CM) and juvenile female (CF) crabs; File S4: Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between adult male (AM) and juvenile female (AF) crabs; File S5: Enriched KEGG pathway analysis of the DEGs between juvenile male (CM) and juvenile female (CF) crabs; File S6: Enriched KEGG pathway analysis of the DEGs between adult male (AM) and juvenile female (AF) crabs.
