Russian Clinical Practice Guidelines: Metadata from the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation

This dataset provides a structured metadata index of Russian clinical practice guidelines, officially referred to as “clinical recommendations,” identified through the public Clinical Recommendations Rubricator of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. It represents a snapshot of the source repository collected in early August 2026. The dataset contains metadata for 1,235 records, including 746 active recommendations and 489 archived versions. During data collection, full-text availability was successfully verified for 1,233 records. Two archived documents could not be retrieved because of errors on the source server. No full-text clinical recommendation documents are redistributed in this repository. The metadata were collected programmatically from publicly accessible Ministry of Health resources at https://cr.minzdrav.gov.ru/ and https://apicr.minzdrav.gov.ru/. Available variables include the guideline title, document identifier and version, publication date, active or archived status, target age group, ICD-10 codes and descriptions, responsible professional organizations, approval status, original file name, and source URL. The repository includes `_index.csv`, `_index.json`, `_failed.json`, and documentation of the collection procedure. The `code_version` field serves as the primary record identifier. Repeated or similar titles are expected because different versions and archived records may refer to the same clinical topic. Metadata availability differs between active and archived records. The source did not provide age group, ICD-10 information, developer organization, or approval status for many archived records. Empty values therefore reflect limitations of the original source rather than extraction errors. The dataset may support bibliometric analysis, evidence mapping, studies of guideline coverage and updating, medical information retrieval, natural language processing workflows, and health informatics research. Researchers may use the provided source URLs to access documents directly from the official repository, subject to applicable terms, availability, and legal requirements. This is a time-specific metadata snapshot. Clinical recommendations may subsequently be added, revised, replaced, or archived. Users requiring current clinical guidance should verify each record against the official Ministry of Health repository. The dataset contains no patient-level or personal health information.
