Description

Variable description of patient characteristics ID, unique identifier for each patient. Se-FBTCS, stimulation-evoked focal to bilateral tonic-clonic seizure, categorical variable (yes indicating presence, and no indicating absence of se-FBTCS during cortical stimulation). Drug load reduction, relative reduction in drug load compared to baseline, continuous variable ranging from 0-100% reduction of drug load. History of FBTCS, spontaneous focal to bilateral tonic-clonic seizure, categorical variable (yes indicating presence, and no indicating absence of FBTCS in patients history). Lesion, categorical variable (Lesion indicating presence of a lesion on cerebral MRI, and no lesion indicating no lesion on cerebral MRI). Type of epilepsy, categorical variable (ETLE = extra-temporal lobe epilepsy, TLE = temporal lobe epilepsy). Age, continuous variable (years). Sex, categorical variable (F = female, M = male). Implanted hemisphere, categorical variable indicating in which hemisphere electrodes had been implanted (left, right or bilateral). Implanted contacts, number of implanted electrode contacts per patient, continuous variable (no.). Maximum intensity, maximum stimulus intensity per patient, categorical variable (10 or 15 mA). Type of implantation, type of implanted electrodes, categorical variable (subdural or depth electrodes).
