Scoping Review of Web Accessibility in Africa
Description
This is the dataset of the study named "Web Accessibiliy in Africa: A Scoping Review" It is a scoping review about published web accessibility papers in relation to Africa, from 1999, the year of the first release of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines", up to 2025. This dataset consist of two files, one holding the full information of the content table of the scoping review, and another file holding a summary table with selected data from the first file. The first sheet of each Excel file present key informaton about the data that it contains.

Steps to reproduce
The data presented in this dataset were obtained following the PRISMA-ScR from https://www.prisma-statement.org/scoping Four bibliographic databases were used: ACM Digital Library, IEEE Xplore, Scopus and Web of Science Search strings are facilitated in the notes provided inside the two files of the dataset.
