This dataset contains bibliographic records of digital and web‑based listening research in ESL/EFL contexts indexed in Scopus from 2021 to 2025, reflecting all available publications up to 22 December 2025.

Steps to reproduce

The dataset was retrieved from the Scopus database using predefined search strings related to digital and web‑based listening in ESL/EFL contexts for the period 2021–2025. The screening and selection process followed the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta‑Analyses) framework to remove duplicates and irrelevant records. The final cleaned and harmonised dataset reflects all publications indexed in Scopus and available up to 22 December 2025.
