The AGRIDE-c simulator has been developed to support analysts in the calculation of flood damage to crops for a specific hazard and vulnerability context, by exemplifying the damage functions derived for the Po Plain. The simulator estimates the gross output, production costs and net margin for an individual farmer both in normal conditions (i.e. Scenario 0) and in case of a flood event as well as the resulting damage due to the flood, considering a 1 ha area dedicated to a single crop: grain maize, wheat, barley or grassland.
