Description

This dataset contains the in-process data collected from a print of 6 spatter-contaminated coupons, printed using a Renishaw AM500Q machine. The data has been downsampled to 25kHz. The lower half of all 6 coupons was printed using spatter-contaminated powder from a large spatter-producing block printed upwind of the gas flow. This block was switched off for the upper half, so the coupons were printed with fresh powder. The dataset is intended to be used for the development of in-situ monitoring data analysis methods that are capable of identifying spatter using just the on-axis photodiode within the machine. The porosity for each of the samples was extracted by CT, and is also available. This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 956401.
