Steps to reproduce
A. 6 October 2022- "Original CITES Trade Database Dataset Oct6" The CITES Trade Database was accessed with the following search items entered. Years: 2000-2020 Importing country: all Exporting country: Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Viet Nam, Timor-Leste, Brunei Darussalam, Philippines, Myanmar, Malaysia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, China, Mauritius, or Israel Source: all Purpose: commercial, scientific, medical Trade term: live Taxon: Macaca (genus). Once dataset collected, the data was collated based on year, by exporting country, and by importing country (via the appropriate headings). Indirect trade was identified via trade reports with an 'origin' country. The data was then used to calculate proportions of trade per country per year for the initial search criteria used.
