In October 2017, Sentience Institute (https://www.sentienceinstitute.org/) conducted a survey on attitudes towards animal farming and animal-free food with 1,094 US adults. The sample was recruited by Ipsos (https://www.ipsos.com/) based on census estimates from the American Community Survey (https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/acs). The survey has been repeated, with some minor modifications in each year, in 2019, 2020 and 2021. The dataset available for download here is for all four years of the survey. Note that zip codes have been removed from the dataset to ensure participant anonymity. The survey and code associated with this dataset can be found at the following OSF link: https://osf.io/a4qjg/
