The data reveal the Javanese women's Self-Esteem and Gender Equality Depicted in the Novel "Bekisar Merah" . the Jaavnese women are idnetified by their soft behaviours and attitudes for others. Such these behaviours and attitudes reflect their personality in every interraction. for the family bond, tey are characterized by simple and natural, loyal to their husbands, love their parents, adaptive with any situation, religious and having sacred pride. although they have such nice attitude and behaviour, they are not be in a week position. to show this, they show their reaction of their husbands who betray their love. They can have a dynamic decision by leaving their husband for getting freedom when their self-esteem is colonized by their love. The novelty of this article lies in the m ovel of gender strugg;le of the Javanese women in which they do not use wors but they do actions. gender equality for thwe Javanese women is seen from their actions not from words.
