Description

Simple input data files for EPANET and EPANET MSX used to simulate chlorine decay in a water distribution network, when a backflow from a consumer is present which contains contaminant matter with chlorine demand. MSX_be.inp (1.03 MB) - EPNAET .inp network definition file used for hydraulic calculations. msx_definition.msx (1.49 kB) - EPNAET MSX water quality boundary conditions definition file.

Steps to reproduce

The topology of the network was created based on public geospatial data of a municipality. Coordinates are in the HD72/EOV EPSG:23700 projection system. The input files can be viewed with a text editor or simply loaded into EPANET and EPANET-MSX can be executed.
