Description

This dataset includes the dataset of two studies (Study 1 = between-subject design, N=82 participants; Study 2 within subject design, N=52 participants) on the ego-depletion effect. For each study, an experimental session consisted of a pre-test Simon task followed by a prolonged Stroop task (60-min) completed either in a high inhibition condition (half of incongruent trials) or low inhibition condition (only congruent tirals) and a post-test Simon task. The dataset only includes the data from the Simon tasks. Information on each variable is available as comment on the cell containing the name of each variable. A manuscript describing the results of these two studies is currently in revision in PLOS One.
