Description

Video capture and load data of tensile and compression tests of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer holeplate specimens. This is the raw data intended for integrated digital image correlation (IDIC) analyses. The data set was used for developing a new type of IDIC where the rigid-body degrees of freedom of the sample, and desynchronization between video and load measurement, were eliminated by solving an optimization problem.

Steps to reproduce

CFRP plates were water-cut into symmetric , holeplate specimens. These where painted black and sprayed with white paint. The tensile/compression uniaxial tests were conducted while monitored by a 2 Megapixel video camera, and the load was measured as a function of time.
