Description

This dataset contains daily averaged hydraulic head values of the shallow aquifer in the Milan City area. Hydraulic head fluctuations were used to calibrate the 3D FEM numerical model in the research article "Modeling the interference of underground structures with groundwater flow and remedial solutions in Milan" (De Caro, M., et al., 2020). See the associated Data in Brief article "Hydro-stratigraphic datasets for the reconstruction of a large scale 3D FEM numerical model in the Milan metropolitan area (northern Italy)" (Previati, A., et al., 2020) for the location of the three groundwater monitoring boreholes.
