Methodology The DC and chemical content of Bisphenol A-glycidyl methacrylate (BisGMA) and urethane dimethacrylate (UDMA)-based capping materials were studied. Samples were divided into three main excitation groups: light-emitting diode (LED), near-infrared (NIR) laser excitation at 532 nm, and 785 nm wavelengths. The excitation time subgroups were as 0 s, 5 s, 10 s, and 20 s (n=7). Spectral changes were analyzed with Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) and Raman spectroscopy. The assigned aliphatic and aromatic peak intensities of CC bonds are seen at 1637 and 1608 cm-1, respectively. The DC percentages were calculated for each sample. The data were analyzed where applicable by 2-way ANOVA (α=0.05).
