This community survey conducted in an Urban slum setting was conducted to determine the knowledge, attitude and practices regarding antibiotic use and AMR and the associated factors among urban slum dwellers in Uganda. Data was collected using an interviewer administered questionnaire. The study adopted a standard questionnaire from previous studies conducted in similar settings. We found that residents of slums have limited knowledge of antibiotic use and AMR with minimal understanding of AMR concepts and side effects of antibiotics. And people have a negative attitude towards antibiotic use and AMR.
