This data is the supplementary material of the manuscript titled "Impact of smoking on melanoma patient survival: a systematic review and meta-analysis", which contains the search strategy(Table 1), associations of smoking with overall and melanoma-specific mortality within defined patient subgroups(Table 2),absolute survival of melanoma patients at different follow-up periods stratified by smoking status(Table 3),a forest plot for overall mortality in ever smokers compared with never smokers (Figure 1),the sensitivity analysis of studies reporting an association between former smoking and melanoma-specific mortality(Figure 2),mortality of melanoma patients for the different smoking intensity and duration(Table 4),funnel plots of the impact of different smoking status on overall and melanoma-specific mortality(Figure 3),and the Egger’s test and Begg's test of publication bias(Table 5).
