Lirong XuDescription
These western blot images support our research named 'CLOCK regulates Drp1 mRNA stability and mitochondrial homeostasis by interacting with PUF60'. In this research, we found that mitochondria of ClockΔ19 mice exhibit excessive fission and significant dysfunction. We also discovered that CLOCK binds to the RNA binding protein PUF60 RRM domain specifically through its EXON 19. Further, we found that PUF60 directly maintains mitochondrial homeostasis through regulating Drp1 mRNA stability, which could be competed by CLOCK protein.
