Description

Title of program: VIASKL Catalogue Id: AATN_v1_0 Nature of problem The accurate calibration of electron-capture nuclides by liquid- scintillation counting requires a knowledge of the counting efficiency. This efficiency can be calculated as a function of the figure of merit using a model - based on an in depth analysis of the detection processes involved. The influence of the uncertainties of the atomic parameters is taken into account in order to state the confidence limits of the predicted efficiency.
