Description

Individuals suffering from paraplegia have poor trunk and pelvic control which may affect the functional performance and vocational tasks. The interventions on trunk and pelvic control for spinal cord injury individuals was neglected since long. treatment options should be formulated and established to increase trunk and pelvic control for improving gait and balance of the individuals without any side effects. It has been proved as an effective treatment option in improving trunk control, balance and gait among stroke population. This is the first known literature focusing on physiotherapeutic interventions on trunk and pelvic control among spinal cord injury patients. Hence, with this study, it will be used in spinal cord injury (SCI) population as well as it is both cost and time effective.
