Description

This dataset is raw data for the submitted manuscript "Seroepidemiology of hepatitis E virus among the voluntary blood donors in the coastal region of Karnataka, India". The data included continuous variables, and nominal variables were coded. The result and findings in the manuscript are based on this data. This coded data is only meant to ensure reproducibility but no support with the code will be offered until the manuscript is accepted for publication or published.

Steps to reproduce

The data were collected from systematically randomized voluntary blood donors from Udupi district of Karnataka, India. The participant's samples were screened for transfusion-transmitted infections (TTIs) including the proposed data sets for the Hepatitis E virus. Serological and Nucleic amplification tests were the screening technique for TTIs.
