Supplementary Materials: Using Geopandas for locating virtual stations in a free-floating bike sharing system

Complementary data from the publication "Using Geopandas for locating virtual stations in a Free-floating Bike-sharing System". This dataset contains: 1) the zoning information (.shp file) for the city under study, used to georeference spatial data; 2) the SECTRA OD survey (BD_EOD_GranConcepcion.csv), used as the basis for the decision support system; and 3) the lab notebook (Jupyter Notebook) detailing the step-by-step process used to build the computational tool.

Steps to reproduce
The OD survey (BD_EOD_GranConcepcion.csv ) was generated by the Secretariat of Transport Planning of the Bio-Bio Region of Chile in 2017. It was requested through the Law of Transparency of the Public Function and Access to Information of the State Administration of Chile (Law 20.285) in order to generate this study. In order to reproduce the results, this database must be loaded into the code that is available in the Jupyter notebook (Jupyter Code_CRGv3.ipynb) together with the zoning file. The rest of the supplementary materials are derived from data analysis generated with the computer tool developed.
