FABP4 deficiency ameliorates alcoholic steatohepatitis

This is the transcriptional profiling of the liver tissue from WT and Fabp4 deficiency ASH mice. Based on the transcriptional profiling, we could get the differentially expressed genes, gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA), gene ontology (GO) terms (BP, biological process; CC, cellular component; and MF, molecular function) and kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes (KEGG) pathways enrichment analysis.


Steps to reproduce

Total RNA was extracted from the flash-frozen liver tissues of FABP4-/- and their littermate ASH mice using TRIzol reagent. The quality of the RNA samples was evaluated with a NanoDrop 2000c spectrophotometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA) and Agilent’s bioanalyzer. Sequencing libraries were generated by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification and sequenced on a HiSeq 2500 sequencing system (RIBOBIO, Guangzhou, China).
