Clinical biochemical indicators data set from patients with Diabetic Nephropathy
Description
This dataset contains raw clinical laboratory data collected from 254 participants, including patients with Diabetic Nephropathy (DN) and healthy controls, at the Department of Endocrinology, the Second Hospital of Jilin University. between April 2021 and December 2022. The data supports the findings of the related research article titled "Plasma Atherogenic Index as an Independent Predictor of Microalbuminuria in Type 2 Diabetes: A Retrospective Study and Nomogram Development". The data is provided in a single CSV file named "Clinical biochemical indicators data set from patients with Diabetic Nephropathy.csv". It includes demographic information, routine blood biochemical markers, and specific renal function parameters. The variables are as follows: • Demographics: Age, gender, body mass index (BMI). • Blood Biochemistry: Fasting blood glucose (FBG), Glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), serum creatinine (Scr). • Renal Function Indicators: urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR), blood urea nitrogen (BUN). • Other Clinical Parameters: Systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP). The dataset includes a total of 254 complete records. This data is suitable for secondary analyses exploring risk factors for DN progression, validating predictive models, or comparing biochemical profiles. Researchers should note that [mention any limitations, e.g., this is a single-center study with a cross-sectional design / all personal identifiers have been removed to protect patient privacy].
