Data was collected through a survey conducted by a third party on 150 respondents with the following demographics: living in the province of West Java - Indonesia, being a business owner/manager, aged from 17 to 60 years, and having a socioeconomic status: middle or upper. 51% of respondents are men and 49% are women. In terms of age range, respondents aged 18 – 24 were 0.7%, 25 – 30 46.7%, 31 – 35 24.7%, 36 – 40 19.3%, 41 – 45 4%, 46 – 50 2.7% and 51 – 55 2%. Respondents' socioeconomic status: middle 42% and upper 58%.

Steps to reproduce

This study uses a quantitative approach to test the research hypothesis, namely the level of entrepreneurial performance has a positive effect on the level of performance of the firm. The hypothesis is derived from the theory that entrepreneurial performance consists of the ability to build strategies and the ability to recognize, identify and exploit opportunities affecting the firm's performance. Thus, entrepreneurial performance has 2 indicators. To obtain 8 indicators of firm performance, use Balanced Scorecard. Then find indicators of firm performance that derived from 4 perspectives in several literatures.
