Amharic Homophone_Dataset

Description

This dataset has two columns: the first column is named as text and the second column is named as sense. The text column contains 1756 text samples for 4 pairs of homophonic Amharic words: ድህነት(d’hnet) and ድኅነት( d’hnet), ምሁር(m’hur) and ምሑር(m’hur), በአል(be’al) and በዓል(be’al), አቢይ(abiy) and ዐቢይ(abiy) . The sample is a sentence that contains homophonic words. The sense column contained the contextual meaning(sense) of the homophonic word in the given sample. The contextual meaning of words is determined by based on Akalewold Kiflie dictionary
