Distribution of the south-eastern Africa Iron Age archaeological sites where anthracological analyses were carried out (pushpins). The sites close to the Lesotho and South African border are Ha Makotoko, Ntloana Tsoana and Toutle (Lesotho); Twyfelpoort, Mauermanshoek, Roosfontein, Leliehoek and Rose Cottage (South Africa).
