Description

This geospatial database includes parameters such as land surface temperature (LST), normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), modified normalized difference water index (MNDWI), normalized difference built-up index (NDBI), normalized difference bareness index (NDBaI), albedo, and elevation in the Akaki River Catchment of Ethiopia. To extract this information, 708 sample points were randomly selected in the study area using the 'create random points' tool in ArcGIS 10.8 software. The values for each parameter were extracted for each point using the 'extract multi values to points' tool. This data was then used to analyze the spatial heterogeneity of LST and the factors affecting it. Additionally, this database can be used for various environmental applications, such as modeling land surface processes and analyzing climate change studies that require spatial information like LULC, LST, NDVI, and other environmental datasets.
