This dataset contains: Code and description files for a simple one-dimensional vertical model, which simulates the effects of photosynthesis, respiration, gas exchange, and vertical (eddy) diffusion on TOI values in deep-water formation areas (specifically in deep convection areas), during a year cycle. The model is a modified version of the Price-Weller-Pinkel (PWP) model, extended to include stable oxygen isotopes.
