Description

Surface snow samples were collected along a traverse route from Zhongshan Station to Dome A at an approximate interval of 10 km in the 2014/2015 austral summer. All samples were collected by scraping the snow surface with pre-cleaned sample bottles to a depth of 3 ± 1cm until the bottles were fully filled. Snow accumulation rate and concentrations of Cl, NO3 and ClO4 are 5-point running averages.
