Description

Descriptive statistics were used in data summarization for the study variables. The chi-square test was used in univariate analyses; moreover, the independent variables were selected using a chi-square test based on their significance level (p-value less than 0.05) for the multivariate analysis. The insignificant independent variables were excluded based on their significance level (p-value more than 0.05; or equal to zero). The logistic regression analysis was used for the multivariate analysis. Logistic Regression analysis was performed to determine and estimate the variables of the child laborers being exposed to abuse at their workplace. Once more, based on their significance level, the insignificant independent variables (p-value more than 0.05; or equal to zero) were excluded from the model, and the regression model was re-run again, excluding the insignificant variables. Throughout the study, a p-value less than 0.05 were typically statistically significant based on the study variables and literature.
