A panel dataset consisting of 21 countries that are member of the OPEC+ including Algeria, Angola, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Brunei, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Oman, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, the United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela during 2000 - 2020 and 6 variables including energy intensity, R&D expenditure as a percentage of GDP, bank index, market index, total index, and trade openness to investigate the effect of financial development on energy intensity at different levels of innovation and technology.

Steps to reproduce

After Choosing variables considering the literature, hypothesis and the objective of the research, we search for the keywords available in database, gather and process data to reach to the database for the sample we need.
