Description

This is a video of the LIC streamlines of a sweeping jet ejected from a master-slave fluidic oscillator which can decouple the oscillation frequency and spreading angle from the inlet flow rate. It shows the motion patterns of the sweeping jet in the near-field, the far-field, and the free shear layer in one cycle measured by two-dimensional TR-PIV. The working condition is Re = 3893, and the flow rate ratio between the master and the slave layer is 1. More detailed technical descriptions of the master-slave fluidic oscillator can be found in the academic paper https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cja.2020.12.013.
