The dataset maps the digital transformation of Greek municipalities (2019).

Steps to reproduce
Data collection is based on a structured questionnaire, concerning all Municipalities (N = 325) across all regions of Greece. The survey’s duration was six months (from November 2018 to April 2019). A total of 252 municipalities participated. Responses were obtained through e-mail, telephone, or face-to-face interviews. The contact person was either the Mayor or Deputy Mayor, the Smart City Strategy Responsible, the Digital Strategy or Technology Affairs Officers or the Head of the ICT or Digital Department. The survey was conducted by the Laboratory of Industrial and Energy Economics at the National Technical University of Athens, Greece (NTUA).
