Data for: Bridging the Performance Gap in Optical Sorting of Mixed Plastic Waste: A Three-Pillar Evaluation Framework

This repository contains the public test datasets used for the module-level cross-site evaluation in this study, including three localization test sets and three classification test sets collected from three material recovery facilities (MRFs). The localization test sets contain images and corresponding annotation files, and the classification test sets contain single-object images covering the categories evaluated in the study. Within the overall three-pillar evaluation framework, these public datasets support the module-level cross-site evaluation of the localization and classification components, whereas the training datasets, closed-loop benchmark records, long-term field-monitoring records, downstream quality-control sheets, and other operational data are not publicly available because of industrial confidentiality restrictions.
