STATA dataset used in Acuña-Duarte, A. (2017). Electoral apathy among Chilean youth: New evidence for the voter registration dilemma. Estudios Gerenciales, 33(145), pp. 341-351. DOI: 10.1016/j.estger.2017.11.005. Data were retrieved from Chilean Electoral Service (SERVEL) and several rounds of CASEN survey. Variables at the county-level include number of registered voters, population, rural population, youth-vote rate, poverty rate, civic-engagement rate, number of registrar's office, nominal and real wage (average).
