Description

Pressure drop and particle concentration during filtration tests at laboratory scale (soot laden gas stream created by a soot generator) of two small wall-flow Diesel Particulate Filters made of MDF-bioSiC. The concentration of particles upstream and downstream the filter is measured with a Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer (SMPS). Soot generator: PALAS GFG 1000 (5 LPM Argon; 200 sparks/s) Geometrical dimensions of the DPF samples: 9.2 mm x 9.2 mm x 31 mm (cell density 57.59 cell/cm2 ~ 371.6 cpsi)
