The dataset consists of traffic images containing different types of vehicles such as cars, buses, trucks, motorcycles, and other road vehicles. These images are used to train the YOLO object detection model to identify and count vehicles in real-time. The detected vehicle count is then used to estimate traffic density and dynamically optimize traffic signal timings, helping to reduce congestion and waiting time at intersections.
