Description

"The autobiography of a yogi" was written by Paramahansa Yogananda. He has mentioned his childhood and his path; he describes his childhood journey to swami and beyond. This book was first published in 1946. Chapter one of the book is analyzed to understand the representation of gender. The Father word is inscribed thirty-five times; the mother word is inscribed twenty-four times, and the Guru word is written eight times. The core qualities of the mother non-falsehood, correct expression, non-laziness, order of service, will aspects, effort, love, power, devotion, directing, controlling, compassion and others. Father, Mother, and Guru had played a significant role in the formation of Yogi Paramahansa Yogananda. Word cloud analysis was used to understand the role of mother in Yogi's life.
