Description

The figure is a plot of the relationship between the radius of curvature and the current for experimental specimens with different relaxation times. In the bending stress relaxation process of nanocrystalline nickel foil, the stress relaxation time can be significantly shortened by introducing high density pulse current. When the applied peak pulse current density is 75A/mm2, the curvature radius of the sample after 20 minutes of relaxation is the same as that of the sample after 240 minutes of relaxation under the condition of no pulse current. The relaxation efficiency is increased by more than 10 times.
