Description

This dataset accompanies the paper "The response of mesospheric H2O and CO to solar irradiance variability in the models and observations". It contains relative importance (RI) of regressors (stratospheric aerosol optical depth (SAOD), two annual (AO) and semi-annual oscillation (SAO) harmonics, El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO), solar F10.7 index, two Quasi-biennial oscillation (QBO) proxies, and linear trend) used in our multiple linear regression model. RI decomposition of the coefficient of determination is based on the LMG (Lindeman-Meranda-Gold) measure. It contains RI bootstrapped distributions of equatorial (30°S-30°N) CO and H2O time-series at 0.01 hPa. All results of CO and H2O time-series were calculated for the period 2005-2017 and 1992-2017, respectively. It includes results for 4 CCMI REF-C1SD models (SOCOLv3, CESM1-WACCM, EMAC-L90MA and CMAM) and GOZCARDS/MLS observations.
