Here we report the data collected by the conventional spectroscopy. The raw data generalized from the instruments have been uploaded. And they have been restored in .txt and .xlsx files.

Steps to reproduce

The chemicals containing dimolybdenum unit are synthesized under nitrogen. The UV-Visible absorption spectra were recorded on the Shimadzu UV–3600 UV–vis–NIR spectrophotometer, the fluorescence spectra on the Shimadzu RF–5301PC spectrofluorophotometer. More details about the methods and instruments are given in the article and supplemental items.
