Current Trends in Technology and Sciences (CTTS) The emergence of nanobiotechnology has exposed the greener methods of preparation and application. Many theoretical and experimental works have been conducted in the biosynthesis of various nanomaterials and nanocomposites. Biologically synthesised nanomaterials are exhibiting excellent, unique and optimised properties. Micro organisms play an important role in the detoxification of metals through the reduction of metal ions. This process can be exploited for biosynthesis of NPs. Experiments were conducted by varying the concentrations of silver ions for analysing the formation of silver nanoparticles by Fusarium Oxysporum. The analysis has been done for extracellular and intracellular in the growing cell and whole cell sysytems. Silver nanoparticles formed by Fusarium Oxysporum was found to be purely extracellular. In this paper, from the experimental analysis, an attempt is being made to suggest a mechanism and elucidate the kinetics for the formation of silver nanoparticles.
