Sheet 1: The rsmA mutant also has increased biofilm and cell adhesion on a glass surface when assessed by crystal violet staining. Sheet 2: A triple disruption of XC_1803/XC_2715/XC_2866 in an rsmA mutant background leads to reduction in biofilm to a level similar to that of the wild-type strain. In contrast mutation of XC_1803, XC_2715 and XC_2866 alone or in pairwise combination has little or no effect on biofilm formation in the rsmA mutant.
