Description

Data associated with the manuscript "Multi-objective optimization of the activities schedule within the research project". These materials contain Java source code, an executable software and dataset generated with its help. Abstract: In some cases, innovative research is carried out as part of a research project consisting of several activities provided that the success of each activity, as well as its implementation time and costs can be predicted only with a certain probability. In such situation the order of implementation of activities may be of great importance since the expected project costs and the expected project duration depend on it. In this article we propose a methodology to justify the selection of Pareto efficient scheduling strategies for the activities within the research project that provide a balance between the expected project makespan and the expected project costs.
